After residing in this incredible city for over 15 years, I have decided to run for Spokane City Council with a passionate determination to bring about real change. I have observed a recurring pattern in our local elections, with the same individuals being elected and advocating for the same ideas year after year. Unfortunately, these ideas often fail to translate into tangible progress for our community. I firmly believe it's time for fresh perspectives, innovative approaches, and a willingness to listen to the diverse voices of Spokane. By challenging the status quo and fostering an environment of collaboration and action, I aim to break free from stagnation and deliver the results our city truly deserves.

I recognize that the current approaches have fallen short of providing effective solutions. It's time to think outside the box and explore innovative strategies that prioritize both compassion and accountability. I am committed to working tirelessly to develop comprehensive programs that provide stable housing, access to mental health services, and pathways to employment for those experiencing homelessness. Additionally, I will focus on revitalizing our downtown area, making it safe and welcoming for families through increased law enforcement presence, community engagement, and targeted initiatives to address property crime. Together, we can build a Spokane that thrives on safety, inclusivity, and a strong sense of community.

I pursued my passion for politics while studying Political Science at Eastern Washington University, where I gained valuable insights into the complexities of governance and policy-making. Meanwhile, my wife, a proud Gonzaga graduate, and I have made Spokane our home, raising our two children in the vibrant neighborhoods that make our city so special.
Professionally, I have spent over a decade in a purchasing role, honing my negotiation skills and developing a keen ability to get things done. Through my experience, I have learned the importance of finding common ground, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and striving for practical solutions that benefit our community.
As a devoted parent, I have a personal stake in the success of our public school system. I am determined to ensure that every child receives a quality education and has access to the resources they need to thrive.
